Mid 19th Century Silver Knife Rests by Yapp & Woodward

Mid 19th Century silver knife rests in traditional style.

Hallmarked Birmingham 1845 by the makers Yapp and Woodward, well known Birmingham makers.

Unusually the centre of each end has been impressed with the duty mark and the maker's mark in addition to the whole hall mark on each central bar.

In excellent condition, these rests are very desirable and measure 2.75" long x 1.25" high.
