A pair of Antique bisque knife rests from about 1920.
They are an unusual colour with the centre section depicting a rope with spiral ends.
One is perfect whilst the other has two minor imperfections due to the difficult firing of the final glaze on the already fired clay. These slight imperfections, highlight these unusual knife rests rather than devalue them.
They measure 3.5 inches long x .75 inches high and would make a novel birthday or Christmas gift or an inexpensive start to a collection.
